What you get:
BMC will perform the following:
Perform a mainframe capacity planning assessment of up to three LPARS*
- Conduct workshops to assess the Customer environment in collaboration with Customer
- Assess Customer’s future business plans that might impact workload capacity
- Collate and review historical capacity information from Customer data to report current capacity
- Analyze historical capacity utilization identifying:
- Trends that may impact growth predictions
- CPU* allocation, storage and specialty engine utilization at peak intervals
- Workload Manager (WLM) performance at peak intervals
- DASD and Tape capacity and utilization
- Prepare and deliver Assessment Report
The Customer will be responsible for:
- Providing access to Customer’s subject matter experts
- Arranging all meetings with stakeholders
- Providing access to Customers performance and capacity data.
Deliverables: Using BMC’s standard methodology and templates, the following Deliverables are in scope for this project and will be delivered:
- Assessment Report
Completion Criteria: BMC will have completed the Services when the in-scope Services have been completed and the Deliverables have been reviewed in accordance with the Terms of Use and delivered to the Customer Project Manager. From delivery start date, the service must be consumed and complete within 90 calendar days. .
