Contact usRun and control ACH, wire, card, and API payment workflows for resilient payment processing and reconciliation at scale.
Payment Processing Software
Control-M is a workflow orchestration platform that coordinates, monitors, and automates payment processing and reconciliation workflows in real time. It acts as the operational control layer, helping to ensure every step behind a payment executes correctly across fraud scoring, liquidity checks, posting, settlement, reconciliation, and compliance. Control-M differentiates itself by orchestrating the entire payment workflow as a single, end-to-end flow with real-time visibility.
Control-M coordinates ACH, wire, card, and API-driven payments across schedules, dependencies, file arrivals, and cut-off times. By managing the entire flow from initiation through reconciliation in one view, teams can spot issues like missing files or late approvals before payments are delayed or rejected.
Control-M monitors AML checks, sanctions screening, and regulatory reporting workflows in real time, alerting teams to exceptions and providing clear visibility into compliance status. With audit-ready logs and proactive alerts, teams can stay compliant without slowing payment operations.
Control-M validates payment files upfront, manages cross-system dependencies, and flags exceptions before they disrupt processing. With early error detection, automated reconciliation, and a single dashboard with proactive alerts, teams can reduce payment rejections and operational costs due to failures.

Explore use case
Control-M automates payment workflows by triggering and sequencing tasks based on time, events, file availability, and system readiness. It integrates with core banking platforms, payment gateways, and downstream posting and reconciliation systems to manage dependencies, retries, and handoffs—providing centralized control over workflow execution without embedding logic in each system.
Control-M runs anti-money laundering (AML) and sanctions checks by connecting to third-party regulatory sources, coordinates them across payment workflows, and sends tailored alerts when exceptions occur. All workflow events are captured in a centralized log for audit tracking, giving teams visibility into compliance status and enabling automated follow-up actions without embedding compliance logic into each system.
Control-M validates input files and monitors cross-system dependencies, automatically running reconciliation and error-handling tasks. When issues are detected, it triggers retries or conditional follow-up tasks to address discrepancies, helping to prevent errors from propagating downstream. Configurable alerts highlight exceptions in real time, and a single dashboard tracks workflow execution and task state, giving teams visibility and control over high-volume or time-sensitive payment workflows.

We use Control-M to automate tasks on a schedule. This product has given us a central place to monitor jobs visually instead of going to each server to monitor Windows Scheduled tasks. This also lets non-admins run jobs as a self-service as well as be able to load balance tasks and Control-M servers.
